Library is an integral part of our Academic Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning. This COE is designed to assist multidisciplinary curriculum and concept centric demonstrations concerning practices and programs that promote teaching and learning skills among faculty and students; and to support the research so as to improve innovation in Engineering and Technology.
Sports at our Engineering College are an integral part of the curriculum for physical fitness, character building and development of leader ship qualities. Our college offers extensive facilities for sports and games. The institute maintains excellent grounds for cricket, volley ball, basketball, kabaddi. Indoor facilities like caroms, chess, table tennis, badminton, are also maintained.
The management decided to provide transportation between various parts of surround areas and the College. Present, 10 buses are operating between the college and the surround areas.
Transport is also provided for sports, library, laboratory and late evening classes. Buses are operated on Saturdays and Sundays for special classes, NSS, Sports, etc. On special occasions, buses are utilized for industrial visits and social service activities.
A transport committee, headed by a Convener, is formed to take care of the smooth operation of buses. The staff in-charge of the buses ensure the smooth functioning of the buses. The Transport committee meets once in Six months and the Principal and the staff in-charge of the buses attend the meeting.
The administration puts in all efforts to help the students feel at home in terms of comforts and concern of the hostel personnel. Eco-friendly environment, encouraging academic ambiance, uncompromising quality of hygiene, steam cooking, safe drinking water, round the clock security, availability of qualified doctors and resident wardens, indoor games facilities, uninterrupted power supply- all these ensure a very safe and secure stay for the student.
With a view to providing personal care to the students coming from various places. The disciplined and caring hostel environment helps the student imbibe positive values which serve as a firm foundation for their life and career. With the spirit of sharing and living in a multicultural community, they grow into evolved human beings.
Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls within the campus.
The Management objective is the conservation, preservation and dissemination of our culture by implementation of multidimensional cultural activities and programmes.
Cultural activities organized by the college at regular intervals help the students master the much needed social skills as well as act as a window to express their hidden talents. This builds a bonding amongst the students and also brings about constructive competition and a sense of winning.
Every department has its Club and Student’s Association that engages in Student Development Activities and conducts regular cultural fests, seminars, national symposiums and development programs.
NSS was formed under the esteemed guidance of Management along with 100 dedicative volunteers. NSS Wing in our Engineering College, Gudivada is organizing many events annually by catering to the needs of College, surrounding villages/Slums in and around the Region.
The programme aims to inculcate social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In doing so, volunteers learn from people in villages how to lead a good life despite a scarcity of resources. it also provides help in natural and man-made disasters by providing food, clothing and first aid to the disaster victims.
College has an elegant, spacious and air-conditioned canteen which serves a variety of mouth-watering snacks and meals to the students and staff at subsidized rates. It is a place for students to relax and rejuvenate.
A medical Room has been set up to provide First-Aid Facilities in case student falls ill. The institution has a dedicated ambulance 24x7 to handle any emergencies that may arise. The institution has a tie-up with a Corporate Hospital nearby, to provide specialized care if a student needs it.
A spacious and fully equipped auditorium with 2000 seating capacity is in the campus where all co-curricular activities are organized.
The college provides on the premises ample parking for two wheelers and four wheelers vehicles for students and the staff. There is separate parking space for students and teachers.
College has well equipped 125 KVA Generator that can support 24 hours uninterrupted power supply. Generator facility is given to each and every corner of the college, which includes laboratories, class rooms, library, exam section and admin section, etc.
To prevent outsiders from entering the premises and disturbing the students and to ensure the safety of the students, a professionally trained security agency with impeccable credentials has been hired to provide security.
College is well equipped with Fire Safety Extinguishers.
Water for drinking purposes is provided through 750 Liters per Hour RO plant. Drinking water quality is maintained by water analysis and necessary maintenance of the plant.
